This policy explains how Wild One Agency ("Wild One", "we", "us" or "our") handles the personal information we collect through this website and in the course of providing our services.
We are based on the Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia. We handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). If you have any questions about this policy, email us at info@wildoneagency.com.au.
When you fill in a contact or enquiry form on this site, we collect the details you choose to give us. That typically means your name, email address, phone number, the industry or business you work in, and whatever you write in the message field.
If website analytics are enabled, we may also collect basic technical and usage information such as your approximate location, device and browser type, the pages you visit, and how you arrived at the site. This information is general in nature and is not used to identify you personally.
We ask you to only send us the information we actually need. Please do not include sensitive information (such as health, financial or government identifier details) in a form or message unless we have specifically asked for it.
Most of the time we collect personal information directly from you: when you submit a form, email us, call us, or engage us for a project.
Where analytics are enabled, some information is collected automatically as you browse, through cookies and similar technologies. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though some parts of the site may work less smoothly if you turn them off.
We use your personal information to reply to your enquiry, to have a conversation about your project, and to provide the services you have engaged us for.
We also use it to run and improve this website, to understand which content is useful, and to keep our own records. If we ever want to use your details to send you marketing, we will make that clear and give you an easy way to opt out.
Form submissions and enquiry details are processed and stored through our customer relationship management (CRM) provider, which handles this information on our behalf so we can track and respond to your enquiry.
We choose reputable providers and only share what is reasonably needed for them to do their job. These providers are not permitted to use your information for their own purposes.
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information to anyone. Full stop.
We only disclose your information to the service providers who help us operate (such as our CRM, email and analytics tools), to our own team working on your enquiry or project, or where we are required to by law.
Some of the providers we use may store or process information on servers located outside Australia. Where that happens, we take reasonable steps to make sure your information is handled consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.
By submitting your details through this site, you acknowledge that your information may be disclosed to and handled by these overseas providers.
We keep personal information only for as long as we reasonably need it: to answer your enquiry, to deliver and support the work we do for you, and to meet our legal and record keeping obligations.
When we no longer need it, we take reasonable steps to delete it or de-identify it.
We take reasonable steps to protect the personal information we hold from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure.
No method of transmission or storage is ever completely secure, so while we work hard to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you and request a copy of it. You can also ask us to correct anything that is out of date or wrong.
Just email info@wildoneagency.com.au and we will respond within a reasonable time. There is normally no charge, and if we ever cannot give you access, we will explain why.
If you think we have mishandled your personal information, please tell us first. Email info@wildoneagency.com.au with the details and we will look into it and get back to you.
If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your complaint, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au, which oversees privacy law in Australia.
We may update this policy from time to time as our business, tools or the law change. The current version will always live on this page, with the date it was last updated shown at the top.
Questions about your privacy or this policy are always welcome at info@wildoneagency.com.au.
